We are located in the oldest building in Elizabethtown just 8 miles from Hershey PA which is known as the sweetest place on earth. Elizabethtown is the second sweetest place as it is home to M&M Mars and Dove chocolates. Elizabethtown is also known as E-town and is home to the well known college, Elizabethtown College. In July 2009 there was a change in the corporate structure of Farmers' Mutual Insurance. The company de-mutualized and became Elizabethtown Insurance Company, a name that is more reflective of the insurance we write. In addition, the company received a $3 million cash infusion to better protect the policyholders. The goal of the company is the write more property and casualty policies in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and continue to provide excellent service with prompt and fair claim settlements.
